About this event

Presentation and Plenary Workshop led by Evidence Base, Birmingham City University

*** If you are registered or intend to register for the RLUK21 Conference then you do NOT need to register for this session ***

This interactive session offers an opportunity for participants to learn about and contribute to the major AHRC-funded scoping study being carried out by Evidence Base for RLUK.

The Study aims to understand:

  • What roles academic and research libraries are currently playing as partners and as leaders in the research process
  • What further roles academic and research libraries could play in the scholarly research process
  • The nature and extent of the barriers and challenges that exist to exploiting this potential further

Clear recommendations will be made to address the issues and challenges identified, and by whom.

Delegates will:

  • Learn more about the progress of the research
  • Have an opportunity to provide feedback
  • Be able to contribute through live interaction with the presenters
  • Meet with Evidence Base team

These events will be recorded and speaker presentations may be published by RLUK/and or AHRC. Recordings of questions and discussions will not be published but will be used to inform the ongoing scoping study.
